Aliens Fall Arrest Safety System by Aliens, Inc. provides a line of engineered fall-arrest devices that stops the free fall of up to two workers simultaneously. The System requires the workers to simply attach their own safety equipment (their harness) via a lanyard into the designated slots.
All products meet the Occupational Safety and Health Organization (OSHA) construction safety requirements as described in Safety and Health Regulations for Construction (Part 1926), Subpart M (Fall Protection), standard 1926.502, entitled Fall Protection Systems Criteria and Practices, paragraph d, Personal Fall Arrest Systems. Street Aliens and Alien SS both also meet the standard as described in Appendix C to this regulation entitled Personal Fall Arrest System – Non-Mandatory Guidelines for Complying with 1926.502(d).
Who Can Use the Aliens Fall Arrest Safety System?
Workers at a site where OSHA regulations or employers and owners employ a construction safety program requiring workers to be tied off can easily incorporate one of the Alien Fall Arrest products into existing and new structures that utilize structural steel construction.
