Excels General Contracting, Inc. (EGC) is a company operating as Disadvantaged Business Entrepreneur (DBE) consequently emerging in general contracting services in the commonwealth of Massachusetts. We are in the business of Public Works projects, Custom Home Building/Home Remodeling, Commercial/Industrial Infrastructure rehabilitation, and Public Works. Our construction operations office is strategically located in downtown Lowell, Massachusetts.
The owner's goal is to emerge as one of the Northeast's trustworthy general contractors; and presently, he feels through the company's feasibility and business studies, that he is now ready to step into his father's footsteps and run a successful American Construction Company. He aims to take a new project and manage it from the start through its completion, while maintaining the necessary capital to compliment the foundation of the organization.
EGC understands that the key to our success and our competitive advantage is through our vast experience in construction, with business associates, and with a solid civil engineering business ethics. EGC Company hires locally, and capitalizes on markets, suppliers, vendors, and lenders who contribute to the development and improvement of our respective projects in the Lowell constituency. Through the Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund and in-house extensive training, EGC helps its associates and employees to acquire and share the knowledge and skills for current job requirements and develop the competencies needed for future positions within the organization; thus ensuring our potential growth from within.
EGC engineering environment is not large and impersonal, rather a business family of different backgrounds with stewardship responsibilities to one another. In a service-oriented geographically driven industry, known for "putting in the extra," EGC strives to aide our associates in keeping a healthy balance between life and work responsibilities.
Our competitive edge comes from the belief that we should maintain and develop reciprocal relationships with the stronger infrastructures, such as the Division of Planning and Development (DPD), Lowell Public Works (DPW), Lowell Lead Paint Program (LLP), and Lowell Housing Authority (LHA), so that we better serve our clients and our communities.
